What is the best way to organize hair accessories?

i just have a basket and throw it all in except hair bands I put on a cabineer.

I made some ribbon holders with some children in my craft workshops. First take a curtain ring, then take two thick grained ribbons, one large plain ( width about 5cms wide by the length you need approx 1metre). Then you want a ribbon approx half the width and 2.5cm longer. Put the narrow one in the middle of wider ribbon stitch the narrow one down the length across the width at every 5cm . Then turn the top through the ring and stitch . On the bottom edge the ends and add a curtain weight to the back. Now you have sections down the middle to attach your hair clips too.

I use trays that they sell at Home Goods. It's covered in fabric so you can organize jewelry as well.
