DIY Farmhouse Style Christmas Ornament-Wood Burning

Last year I tried my hand at wood burning and was hooked! It is very relaxing and I kind of love the smell-it is like sitting by a fire. It takes a little time but once you get used to it you will love it!

DIY Farmhouse Style Christmas Ornament
Supplies
Pine Cones
Hot Glue
Twine For Hanging
Stamp of your choice
Brown ink pad
Pinecones

Here is one of my favorites:
Stamp the image in the center of the ornament. Make sure the wood burning tool has been heating for about 15 minutes. It is best to use a light pressure to outline the image. If you press too hard or in the same place for too long, it will burn unevenly. Again, it just takes a little practice before you feel comfortable with it.  Use hot glue to attach pine cones to the top. This is optional. It looks just as pretty with those off, but I thought it gave it more of a rustic feel.
Here is another ornament I made:

If you can not find the stamp but have a picture, like in a coloring book etc, Trace it onto the wood and another paper using that duplicate carbon paper.
