Who loves glitter?
I know - it's insanely messy.
But doesn't that sparkle still capture you like it did when you were a child?
My daughter is a glitter lover - and my DIY sidekick.
So when we were shopping for some supplies for a project, she found something I hadn't seen before: glitter spray paint.
I decided it just might be the compromise we needed, and grabbed a can.
Then we headed over to The Dollar Tree and picked up some square candle holders and 4 candles to fit.
I used my Cricut Maker to cut the letters NOEL from a sheet of vinyl. (I have a video on the blog of the Maker cutting the letters.)
Then I peeled each letter from the backing and put one on each candle holder. The square ones worked really well for this.
I think the pink is really pretty (so now I'm thinking something similar for spring really needs to happen). 
It took 4 coats of spray paint to get the coverage I wanted. I painted each side four times, turned the holder over, and repeated the process.
Yes, that was 16 little paint sessions - but worked just fine since I work in Pocket Time anyway.
After they were completely dry, I peeled the vinyl off to reaveal clear glass - perfect for showing off the gorgeous red candles.
A perfectly mess-free glitter project, just in time for Christmas.
This is the glitter I can live with!
