Unless this crack gets wider, this looks like a simple fix. Rub spackle into the crack with your fingers. Let it dry and lightly sand. Then repaint.

This has to be dug our with a trowel, and filled with putty, or a cement, then you can paint over it, when it is dried.

If it is not very wide, you can caulk or spackle it using a trowel. Smooth it out as much as possible. Then use a textured spray, matching the texture of the ceiling. You can buy the ceiling/wall texture in a spray can from a big box hardware/home store in the paint department. It comes in various textures.
