Easy DIY bottle ideas that make perfect gifts
These make great gifts for employee holiday parties or friends. Don't forget the ice: if you frequently host parties, consider looking into a commercial ice machine or even a Manitowoc ice machine. Nothing beats fresh, instant ice in your home or office.
1. Bedazzled Bottles
Supplies
●      Bottle of wine, champagne, or liquor
●      Rhinestones, jewels, sea shells
●      Ribbon
●      Hot glue or craft glue
●      Clear spray paint
Choose how you're going to decorate the bottle. Use hot glue or craft glue to attach the jewels or glitter to the bottle.
After you're done, spray the bottle with a thin layer of clear spray paint. Top it off with a matching bow around the neck along with a holiday gift tag and you're all set.
2. Ombre Glitter Encrusted Bottles
Supplies
●      Bottle of wine, champagne, or liquor
●      Glitter in two colors
●      Craft glue
●      Paper bag
●      Clear spray paint
Set up your workspace by cutting a paper bag in half and spreading it onto a table or the floor. Place glitter in three bowls: 1 bowl for one color, 1 bowl for the other color, and 1 bowl for a mixture of both.
Using a paintbrush, spread glue onto the top 1/3rd of the bottle. Avoid getting glue on the label. Wearing gloves, pour the first color of glitter onto the wet glue. Repeat the process for the middle 3rd of the bottle using the mixed glitter. Repeat again on the bottom 3rd using glitter from the final bowl.
Spray with clear spray paint to set.
3. Liquor Bouquet
Supplies
●      10+ variety of mini shot bottles
●      Hot glue
●      Wooden kabob skewers
●      New flower pot or bucket
●      Craft foam
●      Tissue paper
Place the craft foam into the flower pot or bucket. Using the hot glue gun, attach the mini shots to the flat end of the kabob skewers. After they've set, arrange the mini shots in the foam as desired. It may take a few tries to get everything looking how you want it.
Place the tissue paper around the bottom to cover the foam and you're all set.
4. Soap Dispensers
Supplies
●      Empty liquor bottles (must have a screw-on cap)
●      Screw-on pump dispenser
●      Varnish or clear spray paint
To ensure the label stays intact, cover the empty bottle with varnish or clear spray paint. After it's dry, fill the bottle with your favorite soap and screw on the pump cap.
5. Salt and Pepper Shakers (or custom spices)
Supplies
●      Craft beer bottles or small liquor bottles
●      Steel shaker tops
●      Clear spray paint or varnish
●      Salt, pepper, or your favorite seasoning
Spray the bottles with clear spray paint or cover with varnish to ensure the integrity of the label. After drying, fill the bottles with salt, pepper, or other unique spices. Screw on the caps and finish off with a festive bow.
