These clay fridge magnets are not only cute but really easy to make as well.
Incase you want to see more of my clay projects you should check out my Confetti Resin Coaster and these Festive Resin Coasters which are just the perfect gift idea or home decor as well.
I don’t know about you but I like to personalize my Fridge with colorful magnets because let’s be real who can we deal with a boring stainless steel finish refrigerator all day, everyday!
The colors that I chose for this project were Turquoise, Blue, Purple and Pink.
Start by taking a small piece of the clay, almost the size of a Quarter.
Roll all the clay pieces into perfect balls.
After that use a bottle or any flat even surface to flatten out the balls into a round shape.

Do it to all the other four.
Then place your pieces onto a baking tray and bake at 275F for 15 minutes.
When the clay has completely cooled that is when you go in with the White Acrylic Paint and create your pattern. I chose an Aztec image by a quick google search and tried recreating the Aztec Pattern.
At this point you can customize the magnet the way you want, you could paint your initials, a quote etc
It didn’t take me long since the surface area to cover with the pattern wasn’t that big to begin with.
Let it dry.
The last step is to use Elmers glue to apply the pieces of magnetic sheet on to the backside.
Let them dry completely before you proceed to use it on the fridge.
