My friend called me one day and asked if I wanted a tea cart she was going to be getting rid of. It is like Christmas when I get calls like this do of course I said yes!!! It was lovely but needed a bit if color for some fun!
Here is the before! It was very very cute but needed a refresh. I grabbed some paint and got to work!!!
I highly recommend using vinegar and water and a spritzer bottle to wipe down all of your projects beforehand just to get it any goobies off. It's non-toxic and very efficient.
I freshened up the bottom with a crisp White. Then I used a coral color to paint the top.
In the end I think it came out really fun and colorful! I always seal all of my projects with Minwax polycrylic for extra durability.
Suggested materials:
  • Wooden tea cart   (From a friend)
  • Waverly chalk paint   (Walmart)
  • Water based Minwax polycrylic   (Home Depot)
