Adding Height to a Table

I love my little farmhouse table - it's the most practical piece of furniture I own because it opens up ( flips actually ) to creating seating for 6 - but since it was to sit in the middle of the kitchen in this new house - I needed it to be counter height !
A quick trip to Home depot - and 4 of these solved the problem
We purchased 4 " sleeves " to put into the legs................and simply screwed the castors into place - allowing us to remove them if they're ever not needed
And voila - I have a counter type island - that we can sit around !
Just a side note - I don't want a repeat of this week's fiasco over me painting furniture - so I'll let you know that we bought this farm table from an Antique store - ALREADY painted..................lol -

Have a great day all

@Simply Vintageous...by Suzan I'm kind of glad you moved into a fixer upper again, because if not, you may not have made this beautiful piece of furniture! Can't wait to see what else you do!

Looks great! I have a similar project I'm trying to figure out how to bring to life. We live in a small 1 bedroom apartment. Our kitchen is terribly small. We have a small detachable dishwasher. Since the counter space is very limited I don't want to store the dishwasher on the counter but we're also limited on the under the counter space. I recently found a small table someone left by the dumpster. It would be great for keeping the dishwasher on it when I'm not using it. Problem it sits only 4 feet from the floor. I'm trying to come up with a way to add height as well as legs to it so I can scoot it to the sink when I need to wash dishes then push it into my laundry room when I'm not using it.

Any suggestions would make my day!
