Sea Glass 9 Drawer French Style Dresser!

Vintage Statements found this lovely 9 drawer dresser recently and thought it would look amazing in their new favorite color, Sea Glass. It is put out by Dixie Belle Paint Company and we are loving it!
Lets back track a little and talk about the piece. All the tracks were in good condition and no major flaws to fix. This made for a simple start to a great project.
We first removed all the hardware and then began the process of sanding it down. The top had to be sanded completely down so to allow for the new stain to be accepted and to look perfect all the way across the piece. Luckily this piece was an easy sand and we were able to move forward with using our No Pain Gel Stain in Walnut. Its amazing how well its covers and the color was perfect for what we wanted the end product to look like.
Next we applied two coats of the Sea Glass Paint by Dixie Belle Paint Company. The paint went on very nicely and couldn’t have asked for a better color. This piece sold to one of our followers before I even had the second coat on the project.

To protect the coats of paint, we followed up with Dixie Belle Paint Companies clear coat Flat. It goes on very nicely and drys very well. No complaints!
Next we installed the new hardware as we couldn’t find a matching handle from the original set. We were one handle short. No worries, as we found this lovely set that compliments this piece well.
For this project we used a sander, 100 grit sandpaper, Dixie Belle Paint Company Sea Glass Paint, No Pain Gel Stain in Walnut, Dixie Belle Paint Brushes, Dixie Belle Paint Company Clear Coat in Flat, and new hardware.
