Poison Peas (Walmart). Only thing we found that worked. Be sure to bury them in the mole run deep enough that pets can't get to them.

I had the same problem 2 years ago but luckily remembered Granda's remedy ( he did in 1948). He got myself and a cousin to help him bury the content of the cat litter tray in the hills and within a few days the problem was solved. It worked just as well this time but as I have four cats it was easier. Apparently the smell of the used litter makes the moles think predators are around. If you have access to the stuff give it a try.

Moles are sensitive to noise - Sonic sounding spikes placed in the ground along their runs.

I used moth balls then covered them with steel wool. Gotta push 'em down as far as you can, cover with the sod or grass/dirt that the little buggers dug up and Presto! No more critters!!

We used a product to kill grubs on the lawn. The moles are feeding off the grubs. No grubs, no moles.

There are moles in my area but I've found keeping the cat just a little hungy gives them great incentive to augnet their diet. My Maine coon Grace was getting 3-4 moles and mice a day, over time that puts a big dent in the population.

Did she bring them to you as gifts? Mine did, lined them across the doorway so you had to watch where you walked.

ATTENTION FOR ADVICE ON MOTHBALLS: DO NOT USE WHERE THERE IS ANY CHANCE FOR OTHER ANIMALS TO GET. ONE MOTHBALL CAN KILL A DOG AND THEY WILL, I REPEAT WILL EAT THEM. NO ONE IS SURE WHY THEY ARE ATTRACTED TO THE GAWD-AWFUL SMELL BUT THEY ARE. I ALMOST LOST MY DOG. YOU MUST BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN AND WHERE YOU USE THEM.

Ferret poop. It is biodegradeable, non poisonous and really works. We had moles at my apartment complex and I went out an threw some ferret poop down one hole and we haven't seen them since. Ferrets are a natural enemy to moles as they eat them and invade there tunnels, kill off babies. Ferret poop is free. My ferret poop every 4 hours so I have a ton of poop, or contact your local ferret shelter.

I was told bubble gum but all I got was a sore jaw. HA! HA! I cut it up, shoved it in the mole run and waited. Guess the moles had a bubble blowing contest. Didn't work but I will try the Poison Peas. Thanks

Dogs like ferret poop as ferrets eat a lot of protein and don't digest it all the way. This really works. I am serious. Doesn't hurt the vegetation, doesn't stink and is a real good solution for a mole or groundhog infestation. Good luck.

All I ever got was an occasional tail, she ate everything else. It was especially interesting if she got into the house with one, she would sit under the dining room table and eat it.

Hi Samantha, moles don't like the smell of Castor Oil. Make sure to get it in granular or liquid form, not the stuff you buy at supermarkets. It's not strong enough and sprinkle it around the area.
