I do no usually revamp antiques but this beauty was in bad shape on top.
I did chalk painting, staining and sealing with alot of love..

    How were your leaf handles attached to the dresser? I have a similar looking dresser and the handles are not screwed on, so I don't know how to get them off without damaging the surrounding wood. Thanks

    Beautiful! I don't like painted antiques, but if they're in bad shape, like the current dresser I'm working on, it's better to paint than pitch it in the burn pile! Whoever did this did a fabulous job! Now I'm on the hunt for a worn down dresser so I can have one too!!

    VERY WELL DONE! I don't go for the painted antiques either...BUT sometimes they are a mess! I saw on Antiques Roadshow the other night a small, half round 3 legged table estimated value of $200-225,000---which went to auction at Sotherby's and brought $480,000! So be careful out there.
