Recs for brands of contact paper that adhere well BUT also removable?

I rent, and have horrible "Euro style" cupboards. There's not much that can be done, except to cover up the horrible yellowing with a white (or maybe blue, haven't decided if I want to be more daring) contact paper. I mean, my landlord painted all the trim etc. white and here I have these grungy beige cabinets that are 40 years old... argh, so ugly!!

Anyway, I was hoping to get a rec for an affordable contact paper that adheres well, is thick (so it's opaque), is (hopefully) easy to apply, but importantly can be removed when I move out in 5 years or so. Probably won't matter--maybe he'll update the cabinets--but don't want to spend days getting gunk off.

I know Panyl is great, and actually ordered some samples, but it's also fairly expensive... I've actually seen mixed reviews for both DC Fix and Contact Paper.

Just buying in a plain color; if there's a good cheap option, I'm all ears.

Thanks all! :)

Do you mean like static cling material or is that a Britishism? Sorry I don't mean to be rude I just don't know what you mean. I don't know of any static cling type covering other than for glass and windows. Do you have a brand in mine? Because if it did adhere it might be a good idea. Thanks!
