Remember it's only paint. It can be repainted if you hate it. Or you can lighten it or darken it by layering colors. Recently I thought I wanted a much bolder blue than I ended up liking. I played with the paint, layering it until I got what I wanted. I've stripped off paint that I put on more times than I want to remember. Take a leap of faith. You will learn from the process and your confidence will increase with each project. You've got this.
