I bought this table at a yard sale. It was a Dutch antique with several issues. The top was laminate partial board so I couldnt sand and stain it. Sevreal of the pieces that held it together were glued half hazard Where the wood split. So we cut it down for a side table.
This is the table when I got it.
four beautifully Dutch carved legs. This is why I bought the table.
First we did 3 legs. That wasn’t good. We used the crown molding from the table sides to make the part that holds the top.
Next we moved one leg and added another. I saved these legs from another project.
And here is the finished table.
I love how it turned out. Trash to treasure. Now I make another with the other two legs.
