Repurposed Plastic Crystal Light containers
I use mine to store crochet hooks and latch hook tools. I also use them to store craft items like small wooden letters, craft magnets, sticky tabs, etc.
I use these for drywall screws in my workshop. Write the lengths on the cap and sides. They are very convenient to carry wherever I am working.
I too had a ton of these and just couldn't bring myself to put them in the recycle bin, so I sacked them up with one on the outside of the bag to identify contents, and put them in the Free group for my garage sale. A lady took them for her niece who worked at a daycare and was looking for something to hold snacks and small toys, craft supplies, etc. If something is free, people seem to find a use for it and I don't have to put it in the garbage or recycle. People also can use margarine containers, etc. I've been there -- Dollar Tree has cheap leftover containers, but if you need that dollar for food or utilities, then I'm passing along my blessings by providing something they can use at no cost to them.
I keep lots of storage containers like this. I use them for everything from keeping straws in my car to my daughters play kitchen to sequins and beads.
if they are the canister type, crayons, art pencils, paper clips etc. you are only limited by size! A friend who has an RV uses them for all of her sugar, flour, rice, etc. If you’re talking about the small drops you add to water bottles, I use them for a days worth of medicine in my pocket.
If you want to craft with them, maybe you could make light covers for string lights. Or make up small first aid or sewing kits to give as gifts.
I make a small slot in the top decorate the bottom and it us a great little coin bank. Grandkids love it.
I use containers like this to store seeds from my garden and also for craft items.
I use mine for the beads I use for my wind chimes. I buy in bulk so most of them fit well.
Check with your local elementary school. Teacher use them for storage to art protects.
I screw them to walls, night stands, end tables wherever needed to hold remotes. I also use them near coffee station to hold reusable stir sticks. Decorate them or leave them plain.
ice cubes
How bout a mini sewing kit or fits aid kit to keep in your desk at work or in the glove box of the car? Would also be nice for bulk herbs like basil, parsley, etc.
Use as a mold for making soap. Slice off the closed end when soap is solid and push soap out cutting off slices as you go making nice oval shaped soaps!
I screw a hole in the upper Center back and I pin it to the wall by my calendar to hold all my pens and pencils and highlighters you can decorate it as you would like
Use them in my craft room. They make great brush holders, colored pencils, sponge brushes and anything like that. You can put them in a round cookie tin on a lazy Susan. I also have one of those white, spinning, three layer storage shelves from Michael's. I filled the top tray with them for tall brushes. The lower or middle shelf I used the smaller Crystal lite containers for shorter items. On the lowest shelf I put small bottles of varnish and things like that. Those containers are very handy.
I use them in the bathroom to hold my eyeliner and lipliners. My makeup brushes and mascara in another. I bought a basket that was meant to hold picnic silverware and I put one in each square. I have my hairbrush and comb in one slot also.
Using them for several years in bathroom vanities for individual toothbrush holders. Also great for other small bath storage. Easy to clean or simply swap out.
We use them to store rice, lentils and grains that we buy from bins, tops are labeled and all are kept in a plastic basket in our pantry. The basket holds about 12, so we always have a nice assortment, no more sloppy bags with twist ties!
my mom travels with her lap top computer....the mouse and cord fit nicely in it.
Great container for needles if you use insulin, use to catch stink bugs that get inside, use them for makeup pencils. Use them to hold crochet needles.
I've used them for plastic cutlery storage in my desk. Standard size forks and spoons fit with lid.
I use them to keep condiment/salt & pepper packets @ my workstation.
