I too had a ton of these and just couldn't bring myself to put them in the recycle bin, so I sacked them up with one on the outside of the bag to identify contents, and put them in the Free group for my garage sale. A lady took them for her niece who worked at a daycare and was looking for something to hold snacks and small toys, craft supplies, etc. If something is free, people seem to find a use for it and I don't have to put it in the garbage or recycle. People also can use margarine containers, etc. I've been there -- Dollar Tree has cheap leftover containers, but if you need that dollar for food or utilities, then I'm passing along my blessings by providing something they can use at no cost to them.

if they are the canister type, crayons, art pencils, paper clips etc. you are only limited by size! A friend who has an RV uses them for all of her sugar, flour, rice, etc. If you’re talking about the small drops you add to water bottles, I use them for a days worth of medicine in my pocket.

  • If you want to craft with them, maybe you could make light covers for string lights. Or make up small first aid or sewing kits to give as gifts.

Use them in my craft room. They make great brush holders, colored pencils, sponge brushes and anything like that. You can put them in a round cookie tin on a lazy Susan. I also have one of those white, spinning, three layer storage shelves from Michael's. I filled the top tray with them for tall brushes. The lower or middle shelf I used the smaller Crystal lite containers for shorter items. On the lowest shelf I put small bottles of varnish and things like that. Those containers are very handy.
