How can I hang cloth shoe storage from in a bedroom?

I have shoe storage compartments I want to hang in my children's bedroom for toy storage. My problem is this storage you are supposed to hang on a clothing bar in a closet. But I don't want to do that, and I do not have a bar laying around to put up. I tried using c hooks and it pulled out of the ceiling. Any advice?

I had one of those, and it fastened around the bar. I would do one of two things. The first that occurred to me was to fasten around the bar of a wooden hanger, thus being able to hang it from a hook. The second thought that occurred to me was this:

there is a type of a wooden pants hanger where the bottom rod disconnects on a hinge to slide the pants on. use that to hold the shoe bag. Then get a picture hanger that will hold 50 pounds ...use that to hold the bag. If you want to hang on a ceiling...you may need a type of drywall screw to use. White plastic splits apart and anchors the Eye hook

I like Dfm's idea, If you were to hang some fishing line from one of those plant hanger hooks with the metal piece that goes up into the ceiling and spreads, that should hold the wood hanger and the shoe storage so it is low enough for the kids to put their toys into it. It would also be easy to take down if you want it out of the way.

My thought too. Metal ceiling hooks have butterfly screws when released, after small hole the wings go out to hold just do not make 2 big hole if no drill, use the screw to start a hole, finish open hole with screw wings in tact to get hole just right, that comes with hook open hole, easy . quick. Lowes, Hm Depot, etc always find. Target, Walmart etc. Plant depts. Use choice of color using twine, small rope, small chain links, etc .Insert each side middle if need extra support tie securely, or use good strong glue to complete hanger Works forever, easy to change, HANG OUT OF WAY. USE YOUR IMAGINATION, ASK KIDDO CHOICES.THEIR WAY AS CORNERS, OVER BEDS, NEXT TO WALL OVER BEDS, TABLE

how about 45degree metal builder joints - attach to wall and suspend the storage pods from there

  • Ceiling hooks & eye hooks.

Metal Clothes rod brackets screwed to walls will allow wood dowels or clothes rods, cut to desired or needed length for storage units to hang on. Put 1 or even 2 of them on the same mounted rod. This would also easily allow them to be placed at whatever height best for child to reach the shelves. Anchoring metal brackets to wall studs is about as secure as you can get.

Use ”molly bolts” for arraching to walls or ceilings. They don’t pull out.

they make a "drop" rod to hang from wire shelving and that would work. I put a short shower curtain rod perpendicular to my wire closet structure on the side and used mine on the shower rod.

Your drain line is stopped up. You will need to snake it through a clean out. If you don't have a plumber's snake you may be able to rent one from somewhere like Home Depot to do this yourself. It may be more cost effective & less headache to call a plumber or someone like Roto-Rooter as you may have tree roots that have invaded your line & plugged it up, if there are nearby trees or large landscaping plants.

There are drain products to help clear lines of roots but they take time to work & are not always real effective at clearing a drain. Wish there was a magic cheap effortless solution but none I know of.

Wood screws put into wall studs are very secure too.

Fasten around a wooden hanger and get a wall mount plant hanger and attach to the wall with proper screws
