How can I restore lighting above my stove?

We used our microwave (Kenmore fr Sears) light and when it burned out, there were no replacements.? The store recommended ”to but a new one?” We aren’t doing that, so I tried a stick light and it wasn’t bright enough and wouldn’t stay under the microwav!

Can you replace the light bulb to the unit?
Did the light unit itself burn out or just the lightbulbs? I find it hard to believe that a replacement part is not available. Something is not right. At least the way I look at it. What is the make and model? Maybe I can figure it out.
