Old Coffee Table Transformation - Under Budget

I was bored with my old table and it needed some changes. My budget is also a bit tight, so here is what I decided to do with my coffee table.
The coffee table I found at a used furniture store for approx. 30 dollars was looking okay and durable. But it was too low for my sofa, moreover, it was simply not exactly my taste
Since the seating of my sofa is kinda high, I needed the table to be 10cm higher at least. Buying a new one would be the easiest solution, but my budget is tight as always.
The solution I chose was to remodel the coffee table! This solution is simple and cost-effective, I hope it can help anyone out there with the same problem. 
Old coffee table: before remodeling
Step 1: Check what is underneath of your table and have everything ready.
First, take a look at the underside of the table to see what is there and what you may need to remove. Then you'll know what tools you may need to pick up.
It is always good to know what you are working on before you get changed and ready to start the DIY work.
After having everything ready, it's time to remove all the old legs.
NOTE:
Some old tables with heavy table tops may be really heavy. Please be careful when you move it around to remove the legs. Mine was unexpectedly heavy actually, and I almost had my fingers caught between the table top and the floor. Wearing gloves is highly recommended.

Step 2: Disassemble the table legs.
I think this was the most difficult part of the process. I found the screws to be very hard to remove.
Make sure to check what kind of parts are used and what type of tools are required beforehand, this is very important!
Removing old metal parts might be tough because of the years of use, and important small process is to clean them after removing old parts. If the surface remains dusty, attaching new legs may be difficult as well.
Once everything is ready, all you have to do is remove the old legs, and get new ones.

Step 3: Assemble new table legs
The table legs I chose were in this photo. They are 65 cm high and perfect height with my sofa. It was fun to choose new legs, I hope you enjoy it as well!
There are several kinds of table legs you can find at home depot or other stores. The table base you can see in the photo is small and round and all you have to do is decide where to put them and screw them in.
Once you fix the base position, screw the new table legs.

The felt pads for char is also a good idea.
Step 4: Now your table is ready!
Normally new table legs are not painted at the store, (as far as I know), it would be fun to paint them too. The remodeled table is now high enough to go with my sofa and my basic goal is achieved.
And my additional work made this table transformed into...
This. A large cloth, - originally was a sofa cover, but very slippery with leather sofa and not been used for longtime - , the multi cover that I made before and the wooden board with oil stained made this cozy living table.
Since my house is old and air-conditioning doesn't work well on very cold day, I wanted to have something warm to cover.
This is my solution for an old coffee table.
