Does anyone know what kind of plant this is ?

Dracena Marginata.Re-pot it in the next size pot burying the stem as much as possible

i actually cut mine down, not expecting it to come back, but it did. I like it better shorter.

and nope, it's kinda like that, tall with a tuft.

I see them with several stalks braided together to make the 'tuft' look more full, but that's kinda what they are.

Yes, looks like a dracaena marginata. They can get all weird and curly.

You can also try to cut the top off and put it in water until some roots grow and then repot it in some soil. In the meantime, cut the stalk down short and continue watering it, make sure it's getting enough sunlight and it will resprout new leaves like the previous poster mentioned. I have this exact plant on my desk and it has dropped the bottom leaves due to lack of light. I am finding that this plant needs a good amount of light or it will be spindly.

Cut a piece off and let it root in water. It will develop new shoots and will become a new plant.

Mine has got to 12ft plus. Cut it down twice in the 35 years iv had it. It flowered first time2 years ago. Strange aroma with sticky sap that dripped everywhere.

I just cut my Dracaena and put the top back in the soil. Not only did the top part root and flourish, but the bottom part got new shoots and bushed out. ☺

Yes Dracaena for sure. Sut ff top and propogate. Should send shoots out drom stem that is left.
