Epoxy Resin Door Knobs- can I use a ping pong ball for my mold?

instead of the silicone molds, can I use a ping pong ball for my mold?
Not sure if their would be a BAD chemical reaction. Ping pong ball is the size I want to make for my door knobs.

      Hi, Ritesh!

      Of course you can - you can even have a look at existing projects, there's one by Anita. I believe any ball will work as an improvised molding form as long as it's not damaged (should be perfectly round so you won't get any bubbles in the result).

      Having said that, most ping pong balls are made of polyethylene, so there won't be any reaction as many food containers are also made of this stuff.
