I remove mine from their container, place them in the sink, hose them down and then hang them from the faucet to dry.

You could also use your blow dryer or air compressor and blow the dust off. I have used my air compressor to blow the dust out of fans, vacuum filters, and even outdoor rugs. But make sure you are not blowing into the wind LOL Good luck

Lysol spray if they aren't heavily soiled. I know, sounds odd, but a friend taught me this and it works. Spray them, let them dry. Not only cleans them but makes them smell good too.

I have a hand held shower head in my shower, so I just gently rinse them off by holding 4-5 stems at a time and shake to dry into the tub. Then lay them on some old towels. (Colors may run, but usually not)

I put a lot of salt in a paper or plastic bag and shake the items clean...silk or plastic flowers...I even cleaned a small dusty lamp shade in it this week.
