What surface are you stenciling on?
Pinterest.com should have lots of ideas and instructions for you
Also... there are "repositionable" spray glues that work well on stencils
AND one of the key elements to stenciling... is PATIENCE and a VERY light touch..... the less paint... the less likely it will seep under the stencil
