Project 4: Homemade Leaf Wreath

This is the third project I got out off a very ugly thrifted lamp.
After cut the lampshade into pieces and repurposed them for a topiary and a floating tea light holder, I was left with the base ring.
Perfect metal ring to make a wreath on.
Little bunches of green leaves were cut from an evergreen bush in my garden. With wire they were attaced to the metal ring.
Bottom and top of the leaves are showing, which just adds depth to this wreath.
Before I started adding the leaves I covered the white metal with florists tape, so it wouldn't shine through.
Cut a lot of greenery, you always need more than you think. And don't be impatient, make very small bunches that you add to the ring.
See it all up close here.

Just one more project to go.
