Well one thing for sure all that chicken poop should make stuff grow like crazy. I would rototill the yard, and plant grass or ground cover. Take a roll of canvas with you and make a shade sail. Maybe put down some pavers for a patio, so landscape fabric underneath will prevent weeds. Then take lots of seeds. And some lights to hang would be nice, or some solar powered stake lights. A barbeque would be nice. Best of Luck, you're good for helping out your Dad all that way. My heart goes out to the people of Puerto Rico.

Wish we could ALL go with you th help your dad! I live on the MS Gulf Coast. My house still needs finish work after being in the path of Katrina twelve years ago! Hurricane recovery takes years and is definitely stressful! God bless and give your dad a good hug from one that's "been there"!

He lost 40 lbs in a week and hasn’t gain it back!I’ve been sending food and packages to them when I can afford it .so it takes me a month to fill a box and then on the first I send them the package when I get my SSI, I adore my parents and would do anything for them even risking my own health,I had major surgery in September the day the storm it Them, I had to use the wavy New Channel here to finevthem it took a week but he was in the hospital! He had a nerves break down ,he lost my uncle to the same stomach illness ,it’s been hell for my dad, so I had to wait to recover some before heading out, my doctor is upset but There is no one that wants to help cause they are old and as they put it a paint 😥 when they were young and had money to run people around my sister was always there ,but now not even a call. God is with me , he will help me help them! If I could afford it I would stay with them to the very end. It’s all in Gods hands now 😥😢😔
