Hello. Try putting the felt pads under the hooks. Like the ones you put on the bottom of furniture so the legs don't scratch the floor.

Hi there, they make little felt sticky pads to put on the bottoms of chair feet I would think they may work here as well

  • adhesive cork could work as well, it is very thin

Check out the craft fun foam sheets, specifically the type with adhesive backing. It comes in many colors including white and at least two thickness options. I think that would be the most appealing solution.

That can be tough. Mine scratched my door so bad that I ended up screwing it to the door. Lol. You may be able to use Command hooks if the load on the shelf'hooks isnt too heavy.

Those hooks look like they are not wide enough for the door. It may be the picture. I ended up taking off the mirror that was hung from them and using double sided tape on the mirror. I would agree with Melanie - can you find another solution??

buy squares of felt and cut them up to fit under metal parts, glue them to the metal -I did this with door metal wreath hangars - don't know why it wouldn't work for the ones you have.
