If you feel safer with hiring I would do that

Hey there, we wall mounted our big tv ourselves by first purchases a wall mount from Amazon (it was only about $20) the wall mount came with really clear instructions - you want to be sure to hit studs etc. But it was not difficult to do, however if you are in any way leery about it and can afford to hire someone then definitely do that!

Hello. As long as you have the tools needed and someone to help you, you can do it yourself. My husband has mounted plenty of TV's with no problems.

I'd never attempt mounting a TV alone but my husband and I have mounted all of our TVs without much issue. Amazon and Ebay both sell wall mounts for not alot of money. I think the most we have spent is 15$ Make sure to check the compatibility of your TV with the mount and have the necessary tools.

If you can find a stud, it's pretty easy. If youre not 100 percent sure, I'd go pro. Only becasue if you dont find a stud the TV with fall to the floor.

I've installed many TV"s for clients. I charged $75 to $100. Really there is nothing to it. Makes sure you do have some help lifting it.
