Bathroom Sink Makeover: 14 Fabulous Faucets

My husband and I moved into our first house last June and it's a Foreclosure. Fortunately, a lot of the typical issues you'd find in a foreclosure had already been addressed. However, our master bath wasn't touched. One of the issues remaining is an old, less-than-builder-grade faucet on one sink...with a faucet on the second sink that matches the faucets in the other two bathrooms in the house. Yup. It's odd. So I've been faucet hunting...want to see what I found?
A quick note before we dive in…if you’re looking to replace a faucet in your house on your own, it’s important to know the type of opening your sink currently has–not all faucets will fit your current opening. I currently have all 4-inch center-set faucets and will be replacing the faucets with the same size. Not all of the faucets in this post will actually work for me, but they may for some of you. Also, I don’t know anything about some of the brands of the faucets in this post, so I’m not in any way promoting or supporting them–you definitely need to do your research before buying anything! But enough of the Public Service Announcement…

As a lot of you know, my husband and I moved into our first house, a foreclosure, this past June. While the word “foreclosure” normally draws to my mind visions of destruction and major headaches, our house is actually in really good shape. Fortunately, someone came in and took care of a lot of the issues before we bought it–new carpet, new paint throughout, new tile in two of the bathrooms and kitchen, etc. However, some areas, like the master bath, went completely untouched. I’ve already done a quick and easy lighting update in the master bath, but now it’s time to address the faucets on our two sinks. In preparation for making some changes I perused the internet and came up with this post–Bathroom Sink Makeover: 14 Fabulous Faucets.

We currently have three bathrooms in our house with a total of four faucets. As you can see from my nifty little illustration above, three of the faucets are the same, and one is different. Of course, the different one is in the master bathroom where there are two sinks. The plan is to take the faucet from the downstairs bath and get rid of the 10-year old not-even-builder-grade faucet in the master and replace the downstairs faucet with a new one. Then both faucets in the master will match and there will be a shiny new one in the bathroom that most visitors will see.
Here are 6 of the 14 faucets I found. 4 of 6 of these are the 4inch center-set and will work in our bathrooms. I just liked the other two. :) If you'd like to see the other faucets and where they all came from, stop by my blog. Regardless, I hope you leave inspired and ready to replace a faucet! :)

Go simple: smooth = easier to clean and maintain, maybe least likely to go out of style, too.
