Pottery Barn Inspired Light Up Star Wall Decor

Ever since I saw this light up star in Pottery Barn Kid’s catalog, I’ve been trying to figure out how to make my own. When my mother brought us some wonderful boxes of chocolates for Valentine’s day, I knew I had the supplies I needed to make my own PB Kids light up star. I love to be able to use recycled products in my crafting, and this was the perfect way to celebrate Earth Day and get my crafting fix!
Save over $100 by making it yourself!
Here's how it looks in the daylight...a pretty piece of wall decor or party light!
I recycled a chocolate box for this project! Read the tutorial for tips on how to place the lights and keep the box from tearing when you insert the string lights.
The star can stand or be hung on the wall.
