How do you get an old printer ink stain out of carpet?

I spilled some ink on my carpet and tried immediately to get it out with a spray cleaner advertised to remove ink. Disaster! The stain turned red. I have tried numerous treatments but to no avail. Best was hydrogen peroxide and baking soda but still have the stain. Please help

Try some rubbing alcohol it may help
Folex is not expensive and it works.
Denatured alcohol can find at hardware store
I used oxclean , made into a paste with vinegar rubbed in and out it came

If you know the ink maker - try asking them! Many manufacturers will try to help... If you don't like them, they can't sell ink!
my next choice would be a stain devil for carpet little yellow bottle ...try big box retailer w. M.
Thank you Dfm. That did not work either. If I had not first sprayed the ink spill with Resolve Carpet Cleaner, I think it would be easier to remove it. the first thing I saw when I googled how to remove an ink stain was an ad by Reslove. Do not believe it. Do not use Resolve. It turned the stain red.
