could always buy some fake bushes and trees or even get artificial grass. I’m assuming if you move you could always take the artificial grass and plants with you!

More maybe a water feature of some sort that’s not too big or heavy so you could take it too if you moved?

Decorate your yard with a few DIY garden art pieces. I recently saw a post where someone made a "tin man" with upcycled tin cans. They used a funnel (turned upside down) for the hat. Spray painted the entire thing silver. Really cute. - or - You could use tires to make a giant coffee cup with flowers growing in it. You can have plants if you use buckets, pots, a wheelbarrow or other containers. Depending on your water restrictions, you may have to carry water from your house to the plants.
