Bleach does not work.
try plain coke or kool aid
Plunge down the water and use Barkeepers Friend (not the spray, but the liquid paste). Wipe the stains with a paper towel to dry it out, then pour the BF on all stains. Let sit for several hours, then use the scrubber side of a sponge to clean.
The coloring is from minerals. I put 2 cups of white vinegar in the bowl over night and most of it brushes out the next morning. Re apply as needed. I also use Mr. Clean toilet bowl scrubber after that to finish. Between the 2, I keep the mineral stains out.
Baking soda and white vinegar should usually does the trick for me!
Use Whink Rust Remover - you can buy at Ace Hardware stores
CLR...calcium, lime, Rust Cleaner
If the other ideas on this post do not work...try a pumas stone. You can get them at any hardware or big box store.
Use the Works it is very inexpensive.
Walmart has a product rust stain remover and it works better than anything I have ever used! Find where other bathroom/septic system products are located.
Pumice stone. Scrub gently!
