Just moved into a new home. We have patio doors that have decals on them. I'm not fond of them and would like to remove the stickers, I tried to scrape them off with a razor, but it didn't work.

I have found that Goof Off will remove just about any type of glue. Try soaking the decal with some and let sit for a few minutes, then scrape with a razor. Or maybe using a hair dryer or heat gun along with the razor just might do the trick.

they are a put on for safety so that people recognize that there is glass and don’t try to walk straight through..... think about whethe this is important in your situation

spray WD40 on them or saturate a cloth with same and let sit a few minutes then rub with a dry cloth or scrape with a razor blade and the glue will come right off..if there is paper on top of the decals try to remove as much of it as you can first then use the wd40

Use a razor blade. As P said they are there for safety.

You might try using a hair dryer as you scape. Depends on the decal type. May work, may not. Worth a try.

I find that lighter fliud has been excellent aid to remove any kind of sticker and its residue. It’s small tipped applicator applicator bottle is very useful as well as not to overuse a lot of chemicals. Perhaps using this as a soaking solvent buster and then using your retractable razor will solve your situation

Try WD-40 - let go under edges or Goo-Gone or maybe a warm Iron over Brown paper to melt the glue or maybe a hairdryer will do it........

First, place rags wet with boiling water on them until they get soft. Then wipe with baby oil or vegetable oil (or Goo Gone if you already have it) until they slide off. Followed by Windex to remove the oil.

    Try cleaning them with alcohol.

Try Goo Gone. It's what we use to remove sticky messes.
