Can I divide my Mosquito Plant?
Have forgotten its real name but everyone refers to it a Mosquito Plant because of the wonderful fragrance which seems to keep mosquitoes at bay. Plant has grown large and full and would like to start cuttings for friends who have remarked at how now nice it looks. Here in Arizona it tolerates the summer heat on the shaded patio, and winter is no problem when we haven't seen any frost. Just a slight brush against the plant releases a lemony, spicy fragrance and it really seems to work against mosquitoes. My plant it right next to the front door.
Can a cutting be rooted and replanted for extra plants?
Have had plant about six months, it hasn't bloomed as yet. Perhaps this spring? Should I consider repotting to allow for more growth?
