The few pieces of plastic storage containers I have are stored as follows: bottoms get stacked inside each other & the lids are stored vertically in a separate container. This could be a plastic shoe box, an empty Kleenex box or other cardboard box (cereal, etc.) that’ s covered with contact paper or even one of the bottoms of the storage containers. I’m sure you will figure out what’s the best sution for your needs.

I use a deep cardboard box in a lower cupboard, pulling it out like a giant drawer so that I can look and rummage. Saves a lot of time "organizing"!

I have 2 large storage bins, I don't put the lids on, I keep all my plastic containers in....why didn't I think of this years ago?

Large pull out drawer just for plasticware. I keep the containers and the lids seperate. Store containers inside of each other and lids next to the containers.

Well, how much are you talking about? I hate plastic ware, but since you asked I can tell you how I store my 9 pieces of glass ware. They were purchased to store nestled in each other then I just have the leads up against the cabinets side held in place by the glass storage ware. I only purchased a few pieces and unfortunately the small round ones came in a package of four otherwise I would only have seven. I did what I had told a previous post person to do,purge. You can't possibly use them all at the same time or you wouldn't need to store them. So first go through them and anything that is stained get rid of,now you should have less, then place them within each other and on one shelf they should fit with the lids either up against a cabinet wall or underneath the storage container themselves. Good luck.

I have a big drawer that I keep mine in.... but I got tired of trying to fit a bunch of different shapes and changed most of my plastic storage ware to the Rubbermaid ones that "nest" together... the lids too

I bought 2 plastic baskets at Dollar Store, one for lids & one for bottoms. Go through your collection & anything that is ugly, throw out or find another purpose for it. Stack your bottoms, that now have matching lids, together & put your lids in second basket vertically. You’ll get to know which lid goes with each bottom pretty quickly.

i use their rectangle containers with lids to store cards, card games, first aid kit, candles & extra batteries & flashlights. They are great for rv’s & camping. Great for snack bars, storage bags & separating things in coolers.

I use freezer baskets because they are taller than typical baskets. they are also narrower than a lot of baskets and keep the lids from sliding around. Like some of the others, I use one basket for the containers and another for lids which I line up on their sides in a row. You can also use a dish drainer and turn the stack of containers upside down and use the rest of the slots for the lids.

I like storing my boxes with the lids even though it takes up more space. this way i don't lose them, and they also stack nicely. i do put smaller containers (with their covers) in to larger ones.

If the lids click together when stacked (Rubbermaid, Gladware), then all similar sized lids together, all their matching depth containers on top of the lids.
