Can I paint a mirror with blackboard paint?

If this is possible, what kind of prep would I need to do on the mirror beforehand.

You can! Make sure to do a few coats and cover the whole surface in chalk , then erase to make sure it will work later on- have fun!
Yes! I painted over a mirror with blackboard spray paint without any problem at all. The only prep , of course, was cleaning the mirror. I applied 2 coats of paint. Make sure first coat is dry before applying second coat and don't stand too close and be heavy handed with spray can. You don't want paint to have run marks.

Contact Paper also has a peel & stick blackboard product that would easily adhere to the mirror. Amazon carries it.
