    my favorite little yellow bottle. carbona line of stain removers. if it were fresh, cold water and keep rinsing. blood contains proteins the will shrink up in hot water, keep the water cool.

    If it is washable and even if it is set you can try this. Use lukewarm water, shout, hydroperoxide, and Dawn. You don't need to put all of this on at once. Depending on the color will determine if you can use Borax. But try the warm water and using a squirt bottle put a small amount of peroxide first. If it foams up it truly is blood and you can get it out. But you have to be the one that gets it out because you have to use that old fashioned elbow grease.     Peroxide. Try on a spot that won't show first, though.

    Or go to a uniform store, they sell Zout...that worked well when I was a Nurse
