Privacy along chain link fence

I am wondering what would be the best way to create a privacy screen along about 75’ of chain link fence. Our neighbors have practically a junk yard that we hate looking at. A fence would is quite expensive for the size of our yard and we only want to block that view. It is on a gradual slope. My idea is a trellis type system attached to the fence for vines to grow on. Not sure how to attach them though. We are unable to do much digging because our sprinkler system runs there. I don’t have a better picture of it unfortunately. Thank you!
How high is the chain link fence? You could probably use 2' wide trellis, it is not too expensive and fasten that securely on the chain link fence, but if you intend for a vine to grow there why not just have it grow on the chain link? We have grape vines and wisteria that are quite abundant but did take a year or so to become established. Some people here use arborvitae which seems to really screen exceptionally well. That might be costly though.
I have seen a lot of the TV DIY guys use bamboo screening... and attach it to an existing fence like yours... it will block the view and look nice too.
I planted a honeysuckle along part of our chain link fence. It’s a nice green screen that grows quickly.

Hello - Research shows that chain link fence slats can be used or cedar planks, or mesh. Check with your local Home store for materials available for that purpose that are in your price range. Good luck!
Quick fix would be artificial foliage screen - on line or garden centre or Hedging plants, or mixed shrub border, or climbing plants or Windbreaks or Trees and Garden Seat Arbors or Tarpaulins or Fence panels tied on to chainlink...........
You could weave anything in the fence, even strips of tarp to hide the neighbors trashy yard. If you want shrubs or vines, it would be a good way to hide the yard before the shrubs and vines mature, then you can take them out.
