Squirrel in attic

First things first, you need to find out how it is coming in. Go in during daylight hours to see if you can see light coming in. If you find out where it is coming in put metal screening over it. Find if it has a stash in your attic or has made a nest and get rid of it. If you have windows in the attic cover them so you can see any daylight coming in the attic.

Put moth balls in the attic. Then after a few days check and see how they are coming in and board it up. They don't need a large hole to get in as long as their heads fit through their whole body will. Check for nest also. Good luck. This has always worked for use..

I agree with Nancy, find out how the squirrel is getting in and seal if off.

Plug or screen off the area where it is getting in. If you can't find it, call an exterminator, they will find it for you.
