I just soak mine in plain vinegar.
I also just soak mine in vinegar over night, works like a charm! If you don't feel like remove your shower head you can fill a zip lock baggie with vinegar and then tie it around it.
i can’t get my farmers shower head to come off...I put plain white vinager in a plastic non zip bag and tie it in place over the nozzle with rubber bands or string. Leave for 24 hours, remove and rinse.
I just put white vinegar into plastic food bag making sure there is enough the cover the head and leave overnight. Then if some of the holes are still blocked poke the scale out with a pin or cocktail stick.
CLR works good...can purchase at WalMart or grocery stores.
