This DIY Hairpin Leg Desk is crazy simple to make and could be easily be done in a weekend, including drying time! Check out the full tutorial on how to make it on my site.
Prep your hairpin legs, make sure they are clean.
Use pocket holes to connect the 2x12s. Make your desk about 48".
Stain the boards completely, top and bottom.
Polyureathane the desktop completely. I use Polycrylic and sand between each coating. The specific details are on my site.
There you have it. A beautiful desk that was easy to make and looks awesome. Anyone can build this desk! Check out Hazel + Gold Designs for more photos and in depth tutorial.
