What type of curtains should you put in a bonus room with 8 windows?

Any movie watching in the room? Do you need to make it dark? Any privacy issues? How are they situated? All on one wall or several walls? What style? Budget concerns?

I am a double rod girl, with sheers underneath and curtains or drapes on top. An easy way is a curtain rod with ring clips. Then you can do no sew curtains with drop cloths, pretty sheets, table cloths or anything you can dream up. Plus easy to launder when needed.

I would use sheers or lace panels.

The cheapest way is to use flat bedsheets, cut to size, and sew. They will be similar and look nice.

I would do fabric shades. You can roll them all the way up or half way and put a pretty fabric on them to match your decor.

Whatever type you settle on just be sure that they all match. Otherwise it tends to look like a cheap after thought.
