- Naomie Moore aka baileyanddaisey, Castaic CAon Jan 28, 2018See if these help.https://m.wikihow.com/Wash-Pillowshttp://www.goodhousekeeping.com/home/cleaning/tips/a19468/clean-bed-pillows/https://www.consumerreports.org/bed-bath/how-to-wash-a-pillow/http://laundry.reviewed.com/content/how-to-wash-pillowsI have a top loader. Place 2 (or more if they fit.) I use a free and clear detergent, add a cup of vinegar and 2 heaping tablespoons of baking soda and vinegar in the softener cup and extra rinse cycle. Then in dryer I have 3 or 4 felted wool dryer balls. I have done feather, down and fiberfill. In summer, I place between old sheets and set in the sun for a bit too.Hope this helps!HelpfulReply
See 1 Previous - Jewellmartinon Jan 28, 2018Of course, you can! If you have a small washer, you may only be able to wash one or two at a time. And try to see if there are washing instructions and especially dryer instructions on the tag. My My Pillow pillows can be washed in warm water and low heat, I think. But I have one feather pillow, four other molded foam pillows, and a few old loose poly filled pillows that should have been tossed by now. But the instructions can be different for each type. Poly filled will break down with age and high heat, then they are lumpy and misshapened. The feather pillow is a pain to wash and dry, plus it might split open when it is old. But cold water and only a little detergent is good for all of them, and I use low heat on most of them, although some take longer to dry than others. Best wishes to you ☺️HelpfulReply
- Fix It Jenon Jan 29, 2018Honestly, with a front loader, jam as many pillows in flat as you can! Trust me, I have a front loader too. Extra rinse if you get too many suds. Then when they go in dryer, add clean dryer balls or tennis balls. Loud but fluffs them up nicely!HelpfulReply
- Dianacirce70on Jan 29, 2018You may need to set it to extra spins to extract as much water from the pillows before they go in the dryer, but you absolutely can put pillows in a front loaderHelpfulReply
