How can I clean my baseboards easily?

I have some physical limitations, so short of scooching around on the floor, is there another way to clean them?

You smearing grease and oil on those things Chantel? Wondering what you need to clean that a dusting brush on the end of a vacuum cleaner wand or a Swiffer product won't clean.

I have dogs who seem to get mu on them when they come in from outside, and I hadn't thought of those options.

Vacuum w the brush attachment if you have one - or use a long handled fluffy wool duster - if they're so dirty they need washing though that's another issue - maybe use a small head Mop taking care not to mess up the walls - but hands and knees with a sponge is prob the best unfortunately

I use a swiffer. the original simple green one. put One of the swiffer cloths on the end. I then spray it with the cleaner I am using and you can run along the base and tops of the base board. I also use it for dusting the walls!

Hi! I feel your pain on that. I use a swiffer-type mop with wet pads & just mop the whole thing - top & front. You can even take a chair around the room with you to sit on along the way. They do have a special tool that you can probably find online or in the cleaning section of the store. I think it's called Baseboard Buddy. Good luck!

I scooch around on the floor as I find it's easier to wash them that way rather than bending over. I wash them after vacuuming them.

Using a grabber (gripper), hold a damp sponge in the gripper, place the sponge on top of the baseboard and walk around your baseboard to remove dust. (You can find a grabber at Wal Mart if you don't have one.

Spray Windex on old socks, put them on and "skate" around the house/baseboards. Have fun while cleaning!
