We really need to get rid of it before it goes any further
Dig it out. Boiling water will work too then dig out. Epsom salt followed by boiling water, then dig out. Vinegar works well, but will kill the grass or flowers surrounding the weed. Have you considered hiring out? Clean up crews are a dime a dozen, and can be hired fairly inexpensively. And they work quick. Something to consider?
probably ajuga ....Is there anything else in the same spot
I had that grow into my yard from my neighbor, I used Weed B Gone in a garden sprayer mixed with water.
spraying with clover killer will work but it’s a never ending battle,,clover has a DEEP root system and spreads easily.
also having a good thick healthy lawn will do a lot in controlling it..
It seems broad leaf weed killer doesn't touch it. I plan a grid and use a dandelion tool to take them out - got to get the root and any trailers with babies. A little bit everyday gets the job done - i have a long handled weeder that grabs plant and root but not necessarily the babies - those, you have to bend down to find.
Where would I buy clover killer ?
