I had these very pink kitchen chairs stored in my garage....and when my nephew moved into his first apartment we decided with a quick makeover they would be perfect! So with a little spray paint, I did just that!
First I sanded the chairs with 200 grid sand paper to remove the gloss and give the paint some thing to adhere to. (Sorry I didn't get an actual picture of this step) I turned the chairs upside down to start the spray painting, it's always best to start from the underneath side so you get a good coverage
I sprayed even light coat of paint and when completely dry I sprayed a second coat checking to make sure all the spindles on the legs were covered.
I turned the chairs right side up and sprayed two light coats waiting for each coat to completely dry before spraying a second coat.
I waited until completely dry and sprayed one more coat just to make sure no more pink was visible anywhere.
I think they turned out pretty nice. I hope my nephew agrees. My next project....the kitchen table!!
