What is the best way to remove wallpaper?

I am wanting to remove older wallpaper from a few rooms in my house and would like some tips on making the process as easy as possible.

Oh man, what I didn't go thru getting wallpaper off in 3 rooms when we moved to our current home. I had six family members help! You should be able to rent those wallpaper steamers. Unless they didn't prep the wall before they wallpapered, it should be pretty easy.
Spray bottle of water and downy.
Use a scraper and spray heavy. Wait 2 min. Then scrape. Have rags and trash bags handy. The dirty water will need cleaned off your baseboards. The wallpaper will be sticky so get it in a trash bag immediately. Do not rent a steamer- unnecessary and dangerous if you dont know what you are doing.
