Whales are one of the most popular home decor motifs, and here's a whale project that all you air plant and succulent lovers will appreciate. I made whales out of clay pots and felt, and placed tillandsia air plants on top of them to look like a shower of water coming from the blowhole. So save those extra clay pots — save the whales!

I've been in total cleaning and organizing mode lately, and this week my disastrous junk drawer was tackled. Organizing bins and containers can add up and get expensive. It seems like the cuter they are, the more expensive they get! So, I opted for the FREE route. I dove through my recycle bin and hit the jackpot!

My friend recently took up crocheting. Her thread collection was slowly growing and unfortunately so was the tangled blob holding the spools together. We re-purposed this old Ikea paper towel stand into a functional organizer for all of her spools of thread.
