Book Page Inspiration Board!
This is the inspiration piece for my CraftRoom/Office makeover... a book page inspiration board! Wouldn't this be a great gift for the Creative Mom!Come on over and see the smaller version I did... :)
Layered book pages and chalky finish paint combined give this inspiration board the perfect mix of Rustic & Refined!
One coat of the chalk paint completely covered the frame with no pre-sanding!
I added clear wax after the paint...
Then a thin coat of dark wax, wiping it off quickly to leave only a trace...then, I hit the high spots with sand paper...
For the baking (on foam board) add layers of book pages...choose some that are beautifully aged for interest.
And there you have it! Easy and ever-so-lovely! This will be front and center in my new CraftRoom/Office---it was the inspiration piece that I used to design the room!
And I was thinking...wouldn't this be a GREAT Mother's Day gift for the Creative Mom??? :) (make her a smaller version and wrap up the chalk paint with the inspiration board so she can create her own treasures!) ox Thanks so much for checking out my project friends !
