What to do with this space

Used to have a pool, but we are moving it leaving this empty spot right off our front porch. Need ideas

    Can you clean it up and add a paver sidewalk from the porch to the street or driveway with flowers or plants of some kind along the sides? Wishing you the best.

    Sow fresh grass. Try to get something close to what is currently on the rest of the lawn. By next year it’ll be all blended in. In the meantime plant colorful flowers along your porch to direct attention away from the new grass growing in.

    Possibly the chlorine in the area would prevent new growth of anything. Have your soil tested,first.

    Make some planter boxes in the same wood as the railings and plant herbs and flowers...In between each planter box, put down some dark mulch or road base to allow the planter boxes to stand out.

    since you’re moving, why not just clean the area up and lay down mulch?

    Salt can also be not so good. I’m sure someone else can help you. Testing the soil is not expensive. It might save you time and money,by doing so.
